The School of Music-Conservatorium is pleased to introduce the Kartomi PhD in Music Scholarship (KPMS).

| Eligibility | The scholarship is available to Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents and international applicants. Only H1 or H1E equivalent applicants will be considered for this scholarship. Applicants holding the following qualifications are automatically classed as H1:
Applicants who do not hold one of these qualifications may be eligible if their qualifications and/or research experience are deemed H1 equivalent. More information: H1 Equivalence Procedures on the MRGS site. The scholarship is available to applicants who are currently undertaking or proposing to undertake a PhD in Music. The scholarship may be held in any field of music compatible with the research plans of the School of Music. For full details of eligibility, please see the scholarship's Conditions of Award. |
| How to Apply | The online scholarship application form will be available from 1 August 2009 and close at midnight (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on 31 October 2009. Applicants who complete the online scholarship application form will be automatically considered for all postgraduate research scholarships for which they are eligible in the Faculty of Arts at Monash University.
