Country & Interstate Conference/seminar Travel Grants
The Melbourne Centre for Japanese Language Education recognises that teachers are often unable to attend conferences or seminars due to the cost of travelling.
The MCJLE provides opportunities to teachers in Australia's three southern states for networking and exchange of information.
It offers travel grants to allow teachers to travel to other states to attend conferences specific to language teaching.
Travel grants are designed to ASSIST with the cost of travel, and teachers must be responsible for the remainder of travel costs. Grants will be paid after receiving confirmation of attendance at the conference.
Interstate travel grants of $350.00 are available
Travel
within the state is granted according to the following

Travel grant applications are carefully considered; teachers will be advised in writing as to the success/not of their application. Grants will be forwarded to teachers after their attendance at the conference/seminar.
Applications must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the conference/seminar.
